PLANTATION AMBULATORY SURGERY LTD

Plantation Ambulatory Surgery is a state of the art outpatient gynecologic surgery center which opened in March 2006. It is physically located on the same site as Plantation Gynecology at 390 1st. Ave. NE in Cairo Georgia. The facility is designated as a single specialty/single physician ambulatory surgery center by the Georgia Department of Community Health. As such, all procedures are performed by John L. Taylor MD. Anesthesia is provided by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists or Board Certified Anesthesiologists. At present, all surgical cases are scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays. All insurance is accepted (except HMOs) and we will file as a
courtesy to our patients.
 

Procedures commonly planned for the facility are listed below:

Hysteroscopy:

• Diagnostic with D&C
• ESSURE non-incisional permanent sterilization
• Resection of fibroids or polyps
• Removal of uterine septum or adhesions
• Novasure endometrial ablation for excess uterine bleeding

Urogynecology:

• Transobturator sling for incontinence
• Repair of Cystocele
• Repair of Rectocele
• Cystourethroscopy
• Multichannel Urodynamic testing
• Urethral dilatation
  

Other:

• Labial reduction
• Colposcopy with biopsy of vagina, cervix, or vulva
• Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP)
• Cryosurgery (freezing)
• Endometrial biopsy
• IUD insertion/removal
• Excision of vaginal septum and tumors of vagina and vulva
• Vaginoplasty
• Bartholin’s gland excision or marsupialization
• Excision of skin tags & moles
